Recommendation for Enquete-Commission of the German Parliament

FichtnerSolar participated in the Group of Experts to prepare a recommendation to set up a solar thermal power plant in a developing country.

Direct steam generation in solar parabolic trough collector

FichtnerSolar provided the concept optimization and design of the test rig for investigating the flow processes in a solar parabolic trough collector with direct steam generation as well as the behavior of high-temperature heat storage facilities

Solar Thermal Power Plant (SOLIN-1), India

FichtnerSolar prepared a feasibility study for the first large scale solar rankine cycle power plant to be erected in India in the 30 - 80 MWe range.

30 MWe Solar Central Receiver power plant

FichtnerSolar was leader of an international consortium to determine the final technical concept, the basic parameters, the site, the organizational concept for building as well as for operating the commercial demonstration 30 MWe solar power plant of the central receiver technology (solar tower) to be located in Jordan.

As the next step the volumetric air receiver, a key component of this technology has been developed further by an international consortium under the leadership of FichtnerSolar.

Hydrogen Generation out of solar photovoltaic energy, Germany

FichtnerSolar was awarded with the overall systems engineering and the preparation of the process and instrumentation diagrams for the complete installation and with engineering during plant erection.

Hysolar, Saudi-Arabian-German Research

FichtnerSolar prepared the project documentation for the Hysolar-Project, the Joint Saudi-Arabian-German Research Project to produce hydrogen from solar photovoltaic electricity.

Experimental 100 kWe Solar Dish and Stirling Power Plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

FichtnerSolar participated in the conceptual and detail design.

70 kWe Solar Power Plant in Meekatharra, Australia

FichtnerSolar provided the conceptual engineering of the steam generator for the 70 kW solar power plant.
